Overview Madrigal Transport Services is actively seeking a professional class Aand reliable driver for an elite regional tanker position. We offer a driver-focused partnership and a relaxed driving atmosphere. Your schedule will primarily run from Sunday through Friday covering the East Coast, guaranteeing that you are home on the weekends to enjoy a true work-life balance. This role provides highly competitive compensation where you can easily average $2,000 or more per week, and for drivers who possess a valid passport and are willing to take on Canadian routes, there is even more money to be made. Qualifications To qualify for this position, applicants must have: Class A CDL Clean driving history and MVR a minimum of one year of commercial class A truck driving experience Hazmat, TWIC, and Tanker endorsements. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailer tankers, on long-distance routes Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery efficiency and adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load and unload freight with truck pump or compressor when required, ensuring proper cargo placards are installed on trailer according to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards Transport hazardous materials or dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Deliver freight accurately to designated locations while maintaining professional customer service during drop-offs and pickups Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA guidelines Experience Tanker experience is a plus but not required because we will train you Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with a Class A license Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, and automobile transportation is highly desirable Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures for logistics cargo handling Experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred but not required; training provided if necessary Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures for dangerous goods transportation Strong skills in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely while managing freight loads efficiently
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
