Job Description

STG Logistics, a national leader in containerized logistics and supply chain solutions, is hiring Local CDL-A Truck Drivers starting at $29.35/hr. In this local role, you'll haul containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers, returning home daily. You'll perform safe and efficient pick-ups and deliveries, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and follow all DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on local routes Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete logs Pick up and deliver containerized freight to ports, rail ramps, and customer sites Secure, verify, and document freight according to company and DOT standards Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations Communicate with dispatch to meet on-time pickup and delivery goals Operate within yards, terminals, and distribution centers efficiently Report equipment issues and coordinate basic maintenance Provide professional customer service at each stop Maintain accurate records of hours of service and deliveries Required Skills CDL Class A driving Local route navigation
