Job Description

Summary This position is responsible for driving the feed truck loaded with product to producers in a manner that maintains or improves customer relationships for the feed department, along with providing assistance to feed mill/grain elevator operations when needed. This position is a "jack-of-all-trades" for this location. This position will perform routine responsibilities in the elevator, as well as maintenance and housekeeping at this location. Additionally, based on qualifications, this position will serve as a back-up driver for fuel delivery and agronomy support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drives truck to designated customer location and delivers feed product. Provides excellent customer service on behalf of ATC. Presents a professional, positive image to customers and co-workers at all times. Inspects all feed for quality standards as the primary point of contact for our customers. Delivers feed in bulk or bag in a timely manner. Performs daily pre/post trip inspections of vehicles and/or trailers and reports findings to supervisor when appropriate. Maintains feed truck in excellent working condition and appearance. Assists in all aspects of elevator operation as needed. Operate all elevator loading, unloading and drying equipment. Load and unload grain into trucks for transport. Receive grain from producers. Weigh, probe, test and grade grain in trucks. Installs, repairs, balances tires in shop as needed. Assists customers with purchases and other needs in a respectful, professional manner. Blend and load Agronomy products. Performs maintenance and light repairs on truck and equipment as needed. Completes all required documentation and paperwork. Assists in the processing of feed, as well as housekeeping duties as warranted. Aids in the bagging and receiving of ingredients, as well as other phases of feed production. Attends safety and job skills training as requested by management. Performs all other duties assigned by Location Manager.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 55.0 per week
