ABOUT IRONCLAD MARTIAL ARTS

IronClad Martial Arts helps kids, teens and adults grow strong in body, mind and character. We teach real skill and real life lessons. Our Wells school is growing, and we're looking for a leader to run the mat.

THE ROLE

You own the student experience in Wells. You teach classes that are high-energy, fun and packed with purpose. You help every student reach their next belt and stay on the path to black belt. If you love to teach, lead and inspire people to be their best, this seat is built for you. The best instructors are always students too. We'll keep training you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Teach high-energy, fun classes for kids, teens and adults using our six-part class format
• Teach life lessons and mat chats that build character on and off the mat
• Teach intro classes and set new families up to succeed
• Track student progress, attendance and ranks
• Run monthly stripe tests and belt graduations
• Help students upgrade into Leadership and Expert Training
• Keep students training by spotting who's missing and reaching out fast
• Train and lead our part-time instructors and Leadership students
• Greet parents and build strong relationships with families
• Help run community events and member events
• Join weekly team training on Zoom and a monthly in-person training day
• Hit monthly targets for student retention, new students and upgrades

WHO YOU ARE

• Black belt in a martial art
• 1+ year teaching or coaching groups (kids experience a big plus)
• Outgoing, positive and full of energy
• Organized, on time and detail-driven
• Coachable and hungry to keep learning
• A team player who leads by example
• Available afternoons, evenings, Saturdays and some holidays
• Able to pass a background check
