We are looking for a full-time lowboy driver to join our team. This position is Monday - Friday, first shift, and will be based out of our Richmond AIS branch. Responsibilities :
Safely drive and haul heavy rental equipment to job sites/customers as needed Load and unload the lowboy Make all deliveries within appropriate time parameters and keep management team updated on schedule if change occurs Complete all necessary paperwork Handle basic maintenance of the lowboy including keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed, etc. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Requirements :
18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED Valid state-issued driver's license with clean driving record Class A CDL with air brakes (automatic-only CDL is acceptable) Experience driving, hauling, tying down loads, etc. Punctual, reliable, and a strong sense of urgency Able to work independently and within a team Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly Able to pass a background screening and drug test
Preferred:
Experience in related field and knowledge of heavy construction equipment
