Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
BSI Paving is a leading concrete and paving company seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a driver at BSI Paving, you will work closely with our Fleet Manager and Mechanic team to assist in maintaining optimal condition of our fleet and equipment. You will work with various machines and tools while following Company safety policies and procedures, ensuring functionality and reliability of all company fleet.
TRUCKS WE RUN
  • Pre-DPF Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Mack trucks
  • Tri-axle dumps, Quad-axle dumps, Tractors with Rock Box, Flow-boy, and Low-boy Trailers
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safely operate and drive asphalt trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites.
  • Load and unload asphalt materials with precision and attention to safety guidelines.
  • Work in collaboration with BSI foreman and superintendents to ensures completion of daily tasks
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the truck.
  • Load and unload equipment onto heavy duty trailers
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the asphalt truck.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and project managers.
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of asphalt materials to construction sites.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Group A, manual transmission endorsement.
  • Proven experience as an Asphalt Truck Driver or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Clean driving record and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to operate asphalt trucks and related equipment efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Physical ability to load and unload materials and perform other manual tasks as needed.
  • Availability of flexible working hours, including weekends and overtime.

$30.00
