A Class A Truck Driver safely operates a commercial truck to transport and deliver material to customers. Job Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial vehicle. Load and unload material. Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits. Verify material condition and quantities during the loading/unloading process. Report vehicle maintenance needs. Report overages, shortages, and damaged material. Assist with loading and unloading material at points of delivery and pickup Comply with

DOT/FMCSA

regulations. Maintain a clean driving record. Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor or group leader. Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements & Qualifications

•This is a

SAFETY SENSITIVE

position: requires operating heavy machinery.

•High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Valid, current Class A driver's license and medical card. Clean MVR. Must be able to operate an automatic transmission. Six months minimum CDL driving experience strongly preferred. Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, physical, and meet the physical requirements of the position. Ability to pass a human performance evaluation to meet the physical requirements of the job (lifting, pushing, pulling up to 70 lbs. etc.) Willingness to work required overtime.
