We have great opportunities for positive, motivated individuals to work in a day hab setting assisting adults diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities in becoming self-sufficient and self-actualized. Get in on the ground floor and train for an entry level career in the healthcare/education field! In this position, you will:

Provide transportation to and from the day program and assist the people we support in entering and exiting the vehicle. Monitor all passengers during transit for the purpose of ensuring the safe transportation including monitoring the continued use of seatbelts.

Complete detailed, accurate documentation We require:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Clean, valid NYS drivers licenseMinimum two (2) years driving experience. Some experience with developmentally disabled population preferred.

Complete (within six (6) months of hire) and maintain required training in SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention).The ability to assist with lifting and transferring a person.

Must have flexibility to be reassigned to other programs and/or locations as needed.
