McQueen Inc is a family-owned New Holland and Kubota dealership serving farmers and landowners across New York State. We sell and service new and used agricultural equipment, and our customers count on us to get it to them safely and on time. Position Summary We are looking for a reliable CDL-A driver to deliver and pick up tractors, implements, and other agricultural equipment throughout New York State. When not on the road, you will help keep our dealership grounds clean, safe, and presentable, including mowing and general property upkeep. Responsibilities Driving and Delivery Safely operate our company tractor-trailer (lowboy, flatbed, or equipment trailer) to deliver and pick up equipment at customer farms, auctions, and other dealerships Load, unload, and properly secure equipment using chains, binders, and straps in accordance with DOT regulations Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly Complete delivery paperwork, logbooks, and customer sign-offs accurately Plan routes and communicate with the parts, sales, and service departments to coordinate schedules Represent the dealership professionally with customers at every stop Yard and Property Maintenance (When Not Driving) Mow, trim, and maintain lawns and grounds around the dealership Keep the equipment lot organized, clean, and safe Help move, stage, and wash equipment as needed Assist with general upkeep such as debris removal, snow removal in winter, and minor property maintenance Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record Current DOT medical card Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Experience hauling heavy or oversized loads, with strong knowledge of load securement Ability to work safely around heavy equipment Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently Preferred Experience with agricultural or construction equipment Familiarity with NY oversize/overweight permit requirements Basic mechanical aptitude Experience operating mowers or grounds equipment Tanker, hazmat, or other endorsements are a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to [50] lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to climb into and out of trucks and equipment, and to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for long periods Schedule Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak seasons (spring and fall). Local deliveries within New York State are part of the regular weekly schedule, with occasional overnight travel possible for longer hauls.
