Tow Truck Driver Job Summary DTP Wrecker LLC is looking for a dependable, professional, and motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, treats customers and their vehicles with care, and can safely operate a tow truck in a variety of situations. This is a hands-on position that requires good driving skills, attention to detail, physical ability, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate a tow truck and transport vehicles to designated locations. Perform vehicle towing, recovery, roadside assistance, and related services. Properly secure vehicles before transport. Inspect equipment and ensure the truck is safe and ready for service. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, repair facilities, law enforcement, and other personnel. Complete required paperwork, photos, and job documentation accurately. Follow all company safety procedures and operating policies. Maintain a clean and organized tow truck. Protect customer vehicles from damage during loading, transport, and unloading. Respond to calls in a timely and professional manner. Work independently while also being a dependable member of the DTP Wrecker team. Perform other duties related to towing and roadside assistance as needed. Qualifications Valid Oklahoma driver's license. Clean and responsible driving history preferred. Previous towing, roadside assistance, automotive, or commercial driving experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Must be able to safely operate a tow truck and learn proper towing procedures. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills. Dependable and punctual. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation as needed. Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions. Must be able to pass a background check and meet company hiring requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment as required. Ability to safely climb on and off the truck. Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions. Ability to perform roadside and vehicle recovery tasks safely.
