This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, part-time driving work. Our drivers handle commercial freight, palletized shipments, local deliveries, airport freight, and other scheduled or on-demand transportation services. No CDL is required , but previous experience operating a 26-foot box truck or similar commercial vehicle is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Safely operate 26ft Box trucks with automatic transmission, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Drive a 26ft box truck to transport freight between facilities or to customer locations. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks, lift gate, when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns before and after each shift. Maintain accurate delivery logs, ELDs, delivery documentation, and compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Assist with the loading or unloading process when required. Maintain a clean, professional appearance Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations Requirements Must be available for on call deliveries, should live within 10 minutes of Owasso/Collinsville where trucks are kept. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with city delivery driving involving freight handling. Experience driving Box trucks or straight trucks. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment such as pallet jack and lift gate when necessary. Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial trucking and freight transportation regulations. Strong organizational skills for route planning and documentation management. Must have current DOT medical card Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections regularly. Nice-to-have skills and experience with freight load & unload processes.
