Job Description

Equipment Transport Driver / Heavy-Duty Wrecker — Class A CDL We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Class A CDL driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have professional towing experience, with heavy-duty wrecker experience strongly preferred, along with the ability to safely transport and move heavy equipment. This position requires someone who is comfortable operating commercial vehicles, handling equipment, responding to towing needs, and working in a variety of job-site and roadside environments. Towing experience is a MUST. Heavy-duty wrecker experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A and/or Class B commercial vehicles. Operate Large Ramp Trucks and/or Wrecker safely and professionally. Transport, recover, and move heavy equipment, vehicles, materials, and machinery. Perform heavy-duty towing and recovery services as needed. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and vehicles. Move equipment to and from job sites, customer locations, and other designated locations. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Properly operate winches, rigging, chains, straps, and other towing/recovery equipment. Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and towing/recovery documentation. Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members. Work safely around traffic, construction sites, job sites, and roadside situations. Assist with loading, unloading, hooking, securing, and positioning equipment as required. Maintain and properly care for company trucks, wreckers, trailers, and equipment. Requirements Valid CDL Class A required. Towing experience is
REQUIRED.
Heavy-duty wrecker/towing and recovery experience strongly preferred. Experience moving heavy equipment is preferred. Experience with winches, rigging, chains, straps, and load securement preferred. Clean driving record/MVR. Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check. Strong mechanical awareness and ability to safely operate heavy equipment. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to perform physical labor, including hooking up vehicles, securing loads, and loading/unloading equipment. Ability to work independently and make safe decisions in roadside and job-site environments. Professional attitude and excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who knows how to operate and move equipment safely and someone who has towing experience.
