Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Crude Oil Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting crude oil and related products to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. Your expertise in truck driving and familiarity with different trailer types will be essential to successfully navigate routes and handle freight efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including tankers, and other specialized vehicles for transporting crude oil. Load and unload cargo accurately using appropriate equipment. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety regulations. Follow designated routes for delivery, ensuring timely arrivals at specified locations while maintaining optimal driving practices. Maintain detailed logs of all trips, deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes. Adhere strictly to all safety standards, including proper handling of hazardous materials when transporting crude oil via tanker trucks. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with tractor-trailers and freight delivery. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and specialized trailers such as tankers, refrigerated units, flatbeds, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks. Strong knowledge of route driving principles combined with excellent navigation skills. Familiarity with safety procedures related to transporting hazardous materials like crude oil. Good physical condition for handling vehicle inspections, cargo loading/unloading, and long hours on the road. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for tanker or hazardous materials transportation. $1,400.00 - $2,200.00 per week
