Overview We are seeking two dependable Non-CDL Drivers to pick up used HVAC equipment from customer locations, job sites, warehouses, and service areas. This role is responsible for safely operating company vehicles under CDL weight limits, loading and securing equipment, completing pickup documentation, and representing the company professionally at each stop. Duties Drive a company-provided non-CDL vehicle to pick up used HVAC equipment, parts, and related materials from assigned locations. Load, unload, and secure HVAC units, compressors, coils, furnaces, air handlers, and other equipment using safe lifting, tie-down, and material-handling practices. Complete pickup paperwork, photos, receipts, route sheets, and other documentation accurately and on time. Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, warehouse staff, and dispatch regarding pickup details, delays, access issues, and route changes. Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and follow company procedures for equipment handling, storage, and delivery to the designated facility. Follow all traffic laws, company safety policies, and applicable DOT or insurance requirements for non-CDL commercial vehicle operation. Assist with warehouse or yard duties when not on the road, including sorting, staging, organizing, or moving used HVAC equipment. Qualifications Valid driver's license; CDL is not required. Clean or acceptable motor vehicle record, subject to company and insurance requirements. Previous delivery, pickup, moving, warehouse, HVAC, recycling, scrap, logistics, or field-service experience preferred. Ability to operate a pickup truck, box truck, cargo van, or similar non-CDL vehicle safely. Ability to read route information, follow directions, use GPS, and complete basic paperwork or mobile forms. Strong attention to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Must be able to work independently, manage assigned routes, and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy or awkward equipment with assistance and proper equipment. Frequent bending, standing, walking, reaching, climbing in and out of vehicles, and securing loads. Comfort working outdoors and in warehouse, yard, job-site, and customer-location environments. Ability to use hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, straps, ramps, and other basic material-handling tools as needed. Schedule and Work Environment This is a driving position Monday through Friday with daily pickup routes. Occasional early starts, overtime, or schedule changes may be required based on customer needs, route volume, weather, or operational priorities. Compensation and Benefits Starting pay is $25.00 per hour. Benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, training, uniforms, and growth opportunities, depending on eligibility.
