Job Description
CDL Dump Truck Driver We are looking for an experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This is a local driving position hauling materials to and from construction sites, quarries, asphalt plants, and other job sites. We're looking for someone who knows dump trucks, takes care of their equipment, and can show up on time and get the job done safely. If you have experience hauling and are looking for steady work with a local company, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Operate a dump truck safely to haul stone, dirt, asphalt, millings, and other materials Pick up and deliver loads to construction sites, quarries, plants, and other locations Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Keep your assigned truck clean and report any maintenance or mechanical issues Properly tarp loads when required Follow DOT regulations and job-site safety rules Keep up with load tickets and other required paperwork Communicate with dispatch and job-site personnel throughout the day Follow directions for loading, dumping, and spreading material Take care of company equipment like it's your own What We're Looking For Valid CDL Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred Dump truck experience strongly preferred Clean and safe driving record Experience drop spreading is a plus Comfortable driving and maneuvering on construction sites Able to perform daily truck inspections and recognize basic maintenance issues Dependable and able to report to work on time Safety-minded and respectful of equipment Able to work independently and communicate well with dispatch and customers About the Job Local work — home daily Full-time position Steady hours Overtime opportunities available Truck provided Weekly pay Work primarily throughout the Central Va region We're a local company looking for dependable drivers who want steady work and a company they can grow with.
