Hinton, VA 22831 Job Description We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Local CDL A Shuttle Driver to join our team in Hinton, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods locally, ensuring timely and secure delivery while adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently within local routes. Perform shuttle runs between designated locations, including warehouses, distribution centers, and customer sites. Inspect vehicle before and after trips to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance. Ensuring cargo is secured properly. Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route status and any issues encountered. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 1 year experience operating a Class A commercial vehicle preferred. Knowledge of local roads and routes in and around Hinton, VA. Strong communication and time management skills. Pass DOT physical and drug screening. Work Environment This position involves local driving with daily returns to the home terminal. Drivers will work primarily during regular business hours but must be flexible to accommodate scheduling needs.
