Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury (RWC) is seeking a dependable, friendly, and safety-focused Driver to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting our residents by providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to medical appointments, community outings, events, shopping trips, and other scheduled destinations. Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, events, outings, and other scheduled destinations. Assist residents with safely entering and exiting RWC vehicles. Provide a welcoming, patient, and respectful experience for every resident. Maintain timely transportation schedules and communicate any delays or changes. Perform basic vehicle safety checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Keep RWC vehicles clean, organized, and ready for resident use. Follow all RWC safety procedures and transportation policies. Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and outside providers as needed. Provide additional transportation-related assistance as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety. Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with older adults. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to assist residents with mobility needs as appropriate. Ability to work independently while representing RWC professionally in the community. Previous professional driving, senior living, healthcare, or customer-service experience is a plus.
