Job Description
CDL Dump Truck Driver Perkinson Construction is a family owned and operated company that specializes in site and utility work. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A or Class B Dump Truck Driver to join our growing Site & Utility Construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and aggregates to and from construction sites regulations and company safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A or Class B dump trucks on public roads and construction sites. Transport soil, stone, asphalt, gravel, pipe, and other construction materials as directed. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required vehicle documentation. Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight restrictions Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary. Maintain clean and organized equipment. Communicate effectively with supervisors, equipment operators, and field personnel. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and project-specific safety procedures. Report mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A or Class B driver's license. Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card). Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements. Be able to operate both an automatic and a manual truck Minimum 3 years of dump truck or heavy construction hauling experience preferred. Experience working in site development, excavation, underground utility, or heavy civil construction environments preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties as needed. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
