2991433378-2 Apply for this job now Job Description NFI Industries Inc. is hiring Regional CDL A Truck Drivers to support dedicated transportation across the region. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model tractors, haul freight between customer locations, and complete routes that generally get you home weekly or more. You'll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, manage logs using onboard technology, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries. As part of NFI's people-first culture, you'll work with dispatch, planners, and customers while building a long-term driving career with growth opportunities across North America. Responsibilities Operate CDL A tractor-trailer on regional routes safely and efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects Comply with DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company safety policies Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight to customer locations Secure loads and verify count, condition, and documentation of freight Use onboard technology and ELDs to maintain accurate logs and records Communicate with dispatch, planners, and customers on route status Follow route plans while adapting to traffic, weather, and customer needs Maintain clean, professional equipment and represent NFI positively Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training programs Required Skills CDL A tractor-trailer operation DOT and FMCSA compliance Electronic logging devices (ELDs) Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Freight securement Time management and route planning Defensive driving and safety practices Paperwork and bill of lading handling Use of onboard/telematics systems Customer service and communication
