Job Description

Description The primary responsibility of this role is to support Powertrain Testing and Lab Operations . Reporting to the Manager of Operations - Central Lab Ops , this role will support the Powertrain Testing department by helping ensure testing readiness, reliable lab operations, and effective resolution of testing and equipment issues . What You'll Be Doing Execute testing using engine, powertrain, and vehicle chassis dynamometers , as well as emissions analyzers. Verify test results against applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) requirements and certification procedures, including FTP, HWFE, and US06 . Analyze emissions, particulate matter (PM), and fuel economy data to support powertrain development and testing activities. Troubleshoot equipment and vehicle issues within controlled test cells and environmental chambers . Support daily lab operations and ensure facilities and equipment are ready to support current and future R&D activities.

Provide engineering support for:

Battery development and testing at the new Battery Lab Facility Prototype development Powertrain testing at the full-vehicle and component levels Purchasing IT and Security Provide engineering support for Powertrain Testing Operations . Oversee and resolve issues associated with R&D testing equipment. Identify operational issues, perform problem-solving, and develop effective countermeasures .

What You Bring Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of propulsion systems and CFR emissions testing requirements.

Software/Tools:

Proficiency with data acquisition tools such as Panel 4, ETAS, or Hioki , as well as modeling platforms. Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem-solving skills. What You May Bring Professional Engineer (PE) license Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings/prints
