Job description:
HireTEC Inc. is currently hiring Automotive Rail Loaders for a fast-paced vehicle shipping yard supporting major automotive brands. This position is responsible for loading and securing vehicles into rail cars for transport, conducting visual inspections, and assisting with daily rail yard operations. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around moving vehicles and equipment.
Job Duties:
Load and unload vehicles into rail cars safely and efficiently
Perform visual inspections for vehicle damage
Follow all safety procedures and yard protocols
Drive and stage vehicles throughout the rail yard
Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
Attention to detail: Make sure chocks are properly positioned before work continues.
Learn the employers specific procedures for securing vehicles and working around railcars.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License required
Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles preferred
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Comfortable working outdoors year-round
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Experience preferred but not required.
Frequent walking climbing bending and entering tight spaces while loading vehicles.
