Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and professional Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant transportation safety regulations and laws. This role requires a focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients and stakeholders. Duties Operate various types of vehicles in accordance with company policies and traffic laws. Safely transport passengers or cargo to designated locations within scheduled timeframes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption as required. Comply with all transportation safety regulations and state/local commercial driving laws. Follow established routes and communicate effectively with dispatch or management regarding schedules or delays. Ensure the security of transported items or passengers throughout the journey. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to promote safety and professionalism. Requirements Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated. Proven experience driving in various conditions with a clean driving record. Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and adherence to all relevant laws. Familiarity with state and local commercial driving laws. Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability. Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks. Physical ability to handle loading/unloading cargo if required.
