Job Description:
As a Flagger/Traffic Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring safety at our work zones. This dynamic, hands-on position is perfect for those who thrive outdoors and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Direct traffic safely around construction sites using stop/slow paddles and hand signals
Set up and maintain traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barricades
Drive Truck-Mounted Attenuators (TMAs) to protect work zones
Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient work zones
Communicate effectively with construction crews and supervisors
Load, unload, and deliver traffic control equipment to job sites
Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Work in various weather conditions and schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
Qualifications:
At least 18 years old
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
Reliable transportation to job sites required
One year of traffic control or related experience preferred
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and random drug screenings (THC marijuana testing not included)
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Flagger certification a plus (we provide paid ATSSA certification if needed)
