As a Flagger/Traffic Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring safety at our work zones. This dynamic, hands-on position is perfect for those who thrive outdoors and enjoy a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic safely around construction sites using stop/slow paddles and hand signals
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barricades
- Drive Truck-Mounted Attenuators (TMAs) to protect work zones
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient work zones
- Communicate effectively with construction crews and supervisors
- Load, unload, and deliver traffic control equipment to job sites
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Work in various weather conditions and schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Reliable transportation to job sites required
- One year of traffic control or related experience preferred
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and random drug screenings (THC marijuana testing not included)
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Flagger certification a plus (we provide paid ATSSA certification if needed)
