Job Description

Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Porter is responsible for assisting with various tasks in an automotive service department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and directing them to the appropriate service advisor or technician. Parking and retrieving customer vehicles in a safe and organized manner. Assisting technicians with moving vehicles in and out of service bays. Running errands for the service department, such as picking up parts or delivering customer vehicles. Keeping the service department clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors and maintaining an orderly appearance in customer waiting areas. Assisting with customer shuttle services, driving customers to and from their destinations as necessary. Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary. Following all safety protocols and wearing protective clothing as required. Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Good communication skills
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, kneel, and climb ladders as needed
