Full time: Monday thru Friday With some Emergency Pickups. Must have CNA certification

Must have valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must not have been convicted of a crime rationally related to their position
Must have ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of all resident information
Must be able to speak and understand the English language
Must successfully complete the certification requirements of the licensing state (if applicable)
Must attend and participate in continuing educational programs, as needed
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, physicians, etc.
Must possess willingness to work harmoniously with all other staff
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level in which they are currently functioning
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates a van or bus to pick up, transport and return Residents to and from various locations. Monitors condition of equipment and reports malfunctions to supervisor. Cleans, washes, and waxes vehicles. Responds to transportation requests from administration. 5. Responds to Resident's inquiries, requests and complaints relating to transportation services within scope of authority and refer unresolved matters to supervisor. 6. Performs transport duties in accordance with safety regulations and department policies and procedures. Acts as a delivery service for trustees and administration. Brings new residents to the home. Provides transportation for memorial services. Provides trips on Saturday and Sunday. Helps to plan and schedule trips and outings with Activities. On-call for after hour emergencies All other duties as assigned

From $19.00 per hour
