MondayFriday, 7:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. During academic year, (may vary based on operational needs).Position SummaryMisericordia University is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Campus Shuttle Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position supports the daily operations of the University by ensuring dependable shuttle service across campus and designated off-campus locations.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate University shuttle vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and University policiesTransport passengers along established routes and schedulesConduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concernsMaintain a clean and orderly shuttle environmentProvide excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed, including individuals with disabilitiesMaintain accurate logs and required documentationCommunicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedule changes, delays, or incidentsAdhere to all University safety and risk management guidelinesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredValid drivers license with an acceptable driving record required (CDL preferred but not required, depending on vehicle)Previous driving or customer service experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and maintain a consistent scheduleCommitment to providing a safe and positive experience for all passengersMust be able to pass a background check and driver record screeningPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicleAbility to assist passengers when neededAbility to work in varying weather conditions
