VAN DRIVER / CENTRAL SUPPLY
Join Our Nursing Home Team! We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Van Driver / Central Supply team member to support our residents and nursing home operations. Position Summary The Van Driver / Central Supply employee is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from appointments and activities while also assisting with receiving, organizing, stocking, and distributing supplies throughout the nursing home. Assist residents with entering and exiting the facility vehicle as needed. Ensure residents are transported safely, comfortably, and on schedule. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility vehicle. Complete routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance concerns. Pick up and deliver supplies, equipment, documents, and other materials. Receive, organize, and stock Central Supply inventory. Distribute supplies to nursing units and departments as requested. Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management. Maintain accurate records related to transportation and supplies. Follow all nursing home policies, safety procedures, and resident care standards. Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Previous experience working in a nursing home, healthcare, transportation, or Central Supply required. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with residents, families, and staff. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to safely assist residents with transportation needs. Ability to lift and move supplies as required. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
