Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Before and After School Transporter to ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school. This role involves operating various types of passenger vehicles, including vans, shuttles, or small buses, while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and committed to creating a positive experience for young passengers and their families. Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, or small buses along designated school routes during morning and afternoon hours Ensure the safe loading and unloading of students, assisting with boarding and disembarking as needed Follow all traffic laws, local driving routes, and state transportation regulations to guarantee safety at all times Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks regularly to ensure optimal operation Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and students to coordinate schedules and address any concerns Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading equipment or supplies Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transportation Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning Ability to operate various types of passenger vehicles including vans, limousines, or personal vehicles for delivery purposes Knowledge of manual handling techniques and vehicle maintenance basics Experience in medical transportation or client communication is a plus Strong understanding of traffic regulations and safety standards for passenger vehicles Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, school staff, and colleagues Ability to adhere strictly to local driving routes and schedules while maintaining professionalism and punctuality Demonstrated responsibility in heavy lifting tasks and vehicle upkeep Join us in making a difference by providing safe, reliable transportation that supports students' daily routines! Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
