Job Description

PCM Services is a leading commercial contractor based in Beltsville, MD, serving the DC/Baltimore metro area. We specialize in providing high-quality construction services to a diverse range of clients. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Bucket Truck Operator to join our team and support field operations. The Bucket Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating bucket trucks to assist with elevated work activities, support crews on job sites, and ensure all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with company safety standards. This role requires experience working in outdoor and construction environments, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with field teams. Responsibilities Safely operate bucket trucks to access elevated work areas Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections Support crews with overhead work, material handling, and jobsite setup Follow all company safety procedures, including fall protection and equipment operation protocols Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operation near utilities, structures, and traffic Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting tools and materials Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and site personnel Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, and required documentation Ensure bucket truck and equipment are properly maintained and kept in safe working condition Work outdoors in various weather and jobsite conditions Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid time off & Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Employee Referral program Tuition reimbursement Career growth opportunities - we promote from within! Preferred Skills Experience operating bucket trucks in construction, utility, or electrical environments Journeyman Electrician license preferred, but not required Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and equipment operation Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of related experience Valid DOT Medical Card Valid Journeyman License - preferred, not required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate bucket trucks and related equipment Strong understanding of DOT and jobsite safety requirements Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments for extended periods
