Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer leaves delighted. Educate customers on different strains, products, consumption methods, product effects, as well as answering questions about how products are created and tested. Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, upselling and downselling when appropriate to enhance their experience. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash transactions and accurately apply daily deals and appropriate discounts, including retail math calculations. Maintain an organized, clean, and attractive store. Manage inventory levels by stocking new products when necessary and ensuring proper product rotation. Enforce compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and age restrictions while maintaining strict communication skills as well as phone etiquette. Support team members by supervising or assisting with daily store operations when needed. Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld throughout the store environment. Requirements Previous retail sales experience from an environment involving customer interaction. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain detailed information clearly and confidently. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, sequence of service, cash handling, and retail math calculations. Ability to stay busy and motivated without constant supervision. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash only transactions and ability to accurately apply daily deals and appropriate discounts. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for engaging with clients professionally. A strong familiarity with Medical Marijuana products, strains, dosages, administration, and production methods. Familiarity with 1 on 1 customer service and retail environments, or experience in the industry, will be advantageous.
