Job Summary:

Bud 2 Bloom is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtenders to join our team. As the face of our dispensary, Budtenders play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, educating clients about our cannabis products, and ensuring a positive and informative shopping experience. Budtenders will work as part of a team, ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling point-of-sale systems, maintaining the sales floor, and performing other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers, providing them with personalized recommendations based on their needs and preferences.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings, including strains, concentrates, edibles, and accessories. Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and proper usage of products.

Sales Transactions:

Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash and electronic payments, and manage point-of-sale transactions.

Compliance:

Adhere to all state and local regulations related to the sale and distribution of cannabis products. Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with age restrictions. Adherence to company policies and procedures.

Inventory Management:

Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, tagging products, monitoring product levels, and ensuring the freshness and quality of products. (approx. 20% of time)

Store Maintenance:

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dispensary, including the sales floor, display cases, and back room.

Customer Education:

Provide information about new products, promotions, and cannabis-related news. Conduct educational workshops or events as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year in retail environment, cannabis industry highly desirable. Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Must be willing to submit to a background check. Must obtain a Cannabis Business Identification card, training provided by Bud 2 Bloom. Must be 21 years of age or older. Demonstrates a strong passion for cannabis and a deep understanding of cannabis culture. Ability to work standing for extended periods. Ability to carry packages up to 30 pounds. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software. Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods is a plus. Previous retail experience of any kind is a plus. Enthusiastic about learning and mastering essential skills required for role. Strong team player with self-motivation for completing tasks. Weekend and weeknight availability
