Building Engineer - Full-Time Bryan, TX ──────────────────────────────────────────────
ABOUT MIRAMONT COUNTRY CLUB

We are seeking a skilled, experienced and professional Building Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations and help us uphold the quality our members expect. ──────────────────────────────────────────────
ABOUT THE ROLE
────────────────────────────────────────────── The Building Engineer is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the maintenance, repair, safety and overall functionality of all Miramont Country Club facilities and building systems. This position oversees preventative maintenance programs, manages work orders, coordinates vendor relationships and supervises Maintenance Technicians, all while ensuring our clubhouse and grounds remain safe, operational and impeccably maintained. This is a highly visible role that requires technical expertise, sound judgment and a service-first mindset aligned with the standards of a distinguished private club. ──────────────────────────────────────────────
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
────────────────────────────────────────────── Lead daily facility operations, including preventative maintenance programs and repair prioritization Supervise and support Maintenance Technicians with work orders, daily assignments and project execution Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building systems Maintain, repair and oversee HVAC systems, including electrical components, gas pressures, copper sweating/welding, parts procurement and lockout/tagout procedures Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and fire suppression systems (Ansul systems) Perform and manage advanced carpentry, drywall, painting and specialty repairs Oversee care of premium flooring surfaces including marble, VCT, carpet and specialty materials Maintain and develop working knowledge of Lutron systems, audio/visual equipment and building automation systems Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure proper handling and storage of all chemicals and materials Coordinate with outside vendors, contractors and service providers for specialized repairs Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs and repair schedules Manage maintenance requests through Microsoft Outlook or equivalent work order systems Respond to emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours and weekend situations when required Recommend operational improvements that advance efficiency, safety and cost savings Ensure all maintenance vehicles, tools, and equipment remain properly maintained and operational ──────────────────────────────────────────────
QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
High school diploma or GED Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, engineering, construction or a related field Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and general building systems EPA 608 Universal Certification OSHA 30 Certification CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification Valid State of Texas driver's license
Preferred:
Experience troubleshooting commercial building systems Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Building Automation Systems (BAS) Experience managing vendor and contractor relationships

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
────────────────────────────────────────────── This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods; walk, climb ladders and stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and reach; lift and/or move up to 80 pounds; and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions including heat, cold, humidity and other environments. ──────────────────────────────────────────────

Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
