ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Secures students in assigned seats with seatbelts, wheelchairs, or other means. 2. Physically able to restrain and possibly lift a student if necessary. 3. Insures that students maintain appropriate behavior while on bus. 4. Assists students with loading / unloading in an orderly and safe manner. 5. Provides written documentation of student violations to the Director of Transportation. 6. Checks bus for students and belongings at the conclusion of the day; returns to the appropriate building secretary student personal items left on bus. 7. Understands, applies and adheres to proper procedures of transporting exceptional children as delineated in the Pennsylvania School Bus Operator's Handbook. 8. Assists bus driver with maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. 9. Reports to work on all scheduled days and for all hours as required except as otherwise delineated in the collective bargaining agreement. 10. Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Transportation.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
