Job Description

Ready to Make a Difference in the Lives of Older Adults? We're looking for a passionate, creative individual to join our Home Instead team as a Business Development Manager. Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of generating revenue through strategic and tactical business development and sales efforts. You will build key high value target referral partner relationships, identify business opportunities, and close care consultations to get older adults the care they deserve and need thus reaching your target revenue growth goals. Additionally, you will maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions and service offerings. An entrepreneurial spirit is highly valuable!
What You'll Do:
Make an
Impact:
Proactively identify new opportunities and introduce our services to potential referral partners and clients. You'll connect with clients and families who are making critical decisions for their loved ones.
Develop Market Strategies:
Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential senior living communities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, aging life care managers, estate planning attorneys, wealth managers, trust officers, private fiduciaries, end of life doulas, home health, hospice, and others. Care:
The successful candidate will schedule virtual, meetings, in-person meetings, and sales appointments as defined within the market strategy. Lead generation, engagement, and performance will be tracked through agency management software. These results will be reported by the successful candidate at weekly business development meetings where adjustments will be made to ensure growth targets are met. Engage the
Community:
The successful candidate will also attend Networking events within the communities served as defined within the market strategy. Proper professional follow-up is a must following a business development interaction as well as after receiving a referral. It will be expected that one-to-one follow-up meetings will be scheduled with key referral partners met at these networking events. What Makes You a
Great Fit:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or similar field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or similar roles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Well-organized with effective time and activity-management skills. Goal-oriented, able to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly goals.
