Responsibilities:
Using the current Ohio career-technical standards and industry practices, provide classroom, project-based, and experiential instruction to prepare students for employment, post-secondary education, and credential attainment in the field of business. Courses may include Business Foundations, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management, Financial Literacy, and other business-related coursework. Evaluate student performance. Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and business partners. Support work-based learning opportunities. Serve as Career Technical Student Organization Advisor. Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and industry partners to support career readiness and student success.
Requirements:
A valid Ohio career-technical Integrated Business certificate or license, or at least five years of work experience in the business field.
Preferences:
Experience with Business industry education. Effective organizational, planning, and project management skills. Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement program options, auxiliary services, and curricular materials that support the diverse learning needs of students. Experience working with career technical student organizations.
