Job Description
Town of Cicero Zoning Board, Ad-Hoc Member The Cicero Town Board is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board to serve a 5-year term starting in January 2026. Applicants must be a resident of the Town of Cicero. Requires completion of a minimum of four hours of annual training the Town provides. The following criteria will be considered by the Town Board in determining board service selection: Understanding of zone codes, maps, and survey interpretation; Experience in the area of land use; Willingness to learn and understand Town zoning codes; Experience serving on public board(s); Community involvement; Five years living in the Town of Cicero; Demonstrate experience in working cooperatively with others; Communication skills; Potential conflicts of interest; Demonstration of ability to meet time commitments of a Zoning Board member, including meetings the first Monday monthly at 6:00pm.
