JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The HR Representative supports daily human resources operations by managing employee records, processing HR documentation, and assisting with onboarding, compliance, and recruitment activities. This role ensures timely HR processes, responds to employee inquiries, and helps maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Assist with recruitment efforts including job fairs, hiring events, and candidate support activities
  • Conduct and coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements
  • Complete all onboarding activities and new hire processes, ensuring required documentation is accurate and complete
  • Assist with employee onboarding orientation sessions and materials preparation
  • Maintain employee files, HR records, logs, and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain, organize, and file employment and HR-related records to support recordkeeping and audit requirements
  • Track and follow up on employee documentation deadlines (e.g., expiring licenses, certifications, I-9 reverifications)
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and benefits information to employees in a clear and professional manner
  • Ensure accuracy and timely maintenance of HR data.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
  • Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment laws preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in HR systems preferred
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
