April 27, 2026. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Position Summary Senior-level fundraising position reporting directly to the SVP/Chief Development Officer. Will work closely with Board of Trustees for Lead/Major Gift portfolio. Will provide leadership and supervision to Development Officers and guidance on annualize fundraising strategy and execution for the organization.
Qualifications:
10+ years professional fundraising experience with an emphasis in Major Gift fundraising in the YMCA or another not-for-profit Demonstration of securing 5 and 6-figure gifts through Major Gift fundraising best practices Demonstration of Major Gift stewardship and step-up giving Comfortable using standard Microsoft Office Suite software and office equipment College degree preferred Ability to work independently; has strong organizational, time management and decision-making skills; and the flexibility to change priorities as required Must meet absolute deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including positive interaction with staff and community leaders Be able to speak, write, and understand English clearly and concisely; and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships Ability to maintain confidential information while dealing with proper discretion
