Board President Why This Role Matters As the Board Treasurer, you won't just be looking at spreadsheets—you will be the financial storyteller for Courage+. Your analytical mindset will help us see the big picture, ensuring our resources directly fuel our mission. If you enjoy translating numbers into strategy and want to make a tangible impact on youth advocacy, you will thrive in this role. Key Responsibilities In partnership with the Executive Director and team members, you will champion the financial health of Courage+.
Financial Strategy & Oversight Analyze & Advise:
Review financial statements and cash flow to keep the Board updated on our fiscal health, trends, and long-term sustainability.
Budget Collaboration:
Partner with the Executive Director to help shape our annual budget, ensuring our spending aligns with our strategic goals.
Asset & Risk Management:
Provide high-level oversight of our insurance coverage, reserve funds, or investments to ensure we stay well-protected and stable. Be the
Guide:
Translate financial concepts into clear insights for Board colleagues who may not have a finance background. General Board Leadership Attend regular board meetings, committee sessions, and volunteer events. Engage in long- and short-range strategic planning to champion our mission. Act as an ambassador for Courage+ in the community.
Qualifications & Mindset Strong Financial Analytics:
A background in finance, corporate accounting, business management, or a highly analytical field where you enjoy interpreting data.
Strategic Thinker:
Someone who looks at a balance sheet and sees opportunities, patterns, and forward-looking strategy.
Collaborative Spirit:
