Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Change Management Consultant who will be supporting one of our large healthcare clients. The Operational Change & Communications Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and implementation of operational change management activities that support the successful activation of the California Tower. Working collaboratively across all functional workstreams, this role identifies operational changes impacting clinical and non-clinical departments, including workflows, staffing, technology, equipment, patient and family experiences, and departmental operations. The Project Manager develops and overseas integrated change management, communication, and implementation plans that support operational readiness throughout the activation lifecycle. In partnership with other Activation Project Managers, operational leaders, subject matter experts, Training & Education teams, and department champions, this role ensures operational changes are identified, communicated, documented, and implemented in a coordinated and consistent manner. The Operational Change & Communications Project Manager serves as the central integration point for operational change planning, communication, training coordination, and organizational readiness activities, facilitating collaboration across departments to support a safe, efficient, and successful transition into the new facility.

Job Responsibilities:
Operational Change Planning- Lead operational change management activities by identifying impacts to clinical and non-clinical operations, including workflows, staffing, technology, equipment, patient experience, and departmental processes.
- Conduct operational change impact assessments with project managers, operational leaders, and SMEs to identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate operational change efforts across functional workstreams to ensure alignment with activation schedules, project milestones, and readiness goals. Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and execute communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed of operational changes, implementation activities, project milestones, and readiness expectations.
- Facilitate collaboration among operational leaders, department representatives, project teams, and key stakeholders to support alignment and informed decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver status updates, implementation progress reports, readiness metrics, and recommendations to leadership and governance committees. Training & Implementation Coordination
- Identify training needs related to workflow, process, technology, equipment, and facility changes, and partner with Training & Education teams to support implementation planning.
- Coordinate the development of educational materials, workflow documentation, and supporting resources needed for operational readiness.
- Ensure required documentation, communications, and training deliverables are completed and available to support successful implementation and transition activities.
- Support adoption of new operational processes by facilitating planning, issue identification, and resolution throughout activation. Operational Readiness
- Partner with Activation Project Managers, operational leaders, and department representatives to assess readiness across planning, testing, simulations, Day-in-the-Life exercises, move planning, and Go-Live activities.
- Develop and maintain readiness assessment tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor progress and identify gaps.
- Facilitate post-implementation evaluations, lessons learned sessions, and stabilization efforts to support continuous improvement and long-term operational success. Program Integration
- Integrate operational change management activities with the broader Activation Program by coordinating schedules, risks, dependencies, action items, and implementation milestones across workstreams.
- Maintain operational change documentation, readiness reports, dashboards, and implementation metrics to support executive reporting and program governance.
- Identify, communicate, and help mitigate operational risks, implementation barriers, and schedule impacts, escalating significant issues to program leadership as needed.

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 7+ years of progressively responsible organizational change management experience, with demonstrated leadership on large, complex programs.
- Proven track record applying project management Methodology across the full change lifecycle — strategy through reinforcement. o Strong understanding and practical application of ADKAR or Prosci methodology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet
- Bachelor's degree in organizational development, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience leading change management initiatives for hospital openings, major healthcare facility transitions, or large-scale clinical operations transformations.
- Proven background supporting hospital activation, healthcare facility occupancy planning, and operational transition programs for large healthcare environments.
- Change Management certification required; advanced certification preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
