The role provides change management expertise, oversight and decision-making support for changes impacting the branch network. Associate will exercise judgment about how changes should be managed across the branch network. This role has a high level of management interaction across the Private Client Group and the areas that provide technology, product, and service support.
Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Branch Change Management associate will work closely with the project community and senior business leaders to provide oversight and decision-making support for branch-impacting changes. The person in this position will play a lead role in overseeing governance and process to support successful branch change management at Raymond James. Guide change management strategy and planning for branch-impacting changes by partnering with internal teams across the enterprise in alignment with the Branch Change Management framework. Partner closely with PCG leaders, executives and key stakeholders to coordinate branch-impacting changes and identify and address key risks, dependencies and competing priorities. Engage directly with advisors and their teams to develop a thorough understanding of the branch business, gather feedback and apply those insights when evaluating and planning for branch-impacting changes. Maintain an inventory of branch-impacting changes and review with senior leaders to assess the volume, timing and potential cumulative impact on the branch network. Support planning and actively participate in Branch Change Management stakeholder forums, including leadership council meetings and the annual summit, to gather feedback, strengthen business understanding and inform change management strategies Advise on and provide timely review of communication strategies and plans to help ensure branch communications are clear, actionable and appropriate for advisors and their teams. Educate project/business leaders on the change management process and expectations; monitor adherence to established timelines and deliverables; Assess and support branch readiness for significant changes, identifying communication, engagement and adoption needs and partnering with change sponsors to address gaps. Identify, monitor and report on change progress, issues and resolution enabling the successful achievement of change deliverables and benefits; Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure a productive and responsive organization. Evaluate and continuously improve the Branch Change Management process, tools and practices based on stakeholder feedback, lessons learned and evolving business needs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous experience: A minimum of four (4) years' experience delivering organizational change management, project/program management, business management or business transformation consulting to enterprise customers Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, influence stakeholders and build consensus around change. Strong written communication skills Strong understanding of process and continuous improvement Strong organizational and project management abilities Experience within the financial services industry or with a branch based, distributed workforce.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business, management, human resources or relevant discipline. A master's degree is preferred.
License/Certifications:
Certification in change management methodology (PROSCI, CMI, PCI, etc.) is preferred but not required.
