Job DescriptionA continuous improvement strategy is integral to a Quality Management System in GCP for R D. Global Business Operations (GBO), within Clinical Development Operations, sustains an interconnected ecosystem, empowering teams to connect ideas and create impact. Strategic Change Enablement (SCE) Manager II is responsible for partnering across GBO to plan and deliver process improvement initiatives that support clinical research processes. Manage the development of clinical research processes, including process maps and quality system documents. Provide change management for process improvement initiatives, including stakeholder and impact assessment, and communications, by leveraging knowledge of AbbVie's Quality System, GxP Regulations, and the Business Process Framework. Assess metrics and measures for their areas of focus. In partnership with SCE leaders leadership, manage the sustainability of SCE infrastructure, change management programs, and forums in alignment with SCE strategy.
Must have 7+ years of Pharma-related/ clinical research related experience; 3+ years of experience preferably within clinical research.
Experience in process management, optimization, and simplification work is required.
Experience in change management is required.
Effective leadership skills with a proven ability to foster team productivity and cohesiveness in a Matrix environment.
Possesses good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsible for understanding AbbVie's Quality System, GxP Regulations, and the Business Process FrameworkAwareness of Clinical Trial Management Systems and other associated systems for areas of focusUnderstand and partner across the GBO to support process improvement initiativesProvide change management for process improvement initiatives including stakeholder and impact assessment and communicationsManage development of clinical research processes, including quality system documents and process mapsAssessment of metrics and measures for their areas of focusManagement of change management programs and forumsMaintain initiative and change management applicationQualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent ex-US) is required, typically in a scientific or business field. An Associate's degree (or equivalent ex-US) with relevant experience is acceptable.Must have 7+ years of Pharma-related/ clinical research related experience; 3+ years of experience preferably within clinical research.
