Job Description
FLEX Senior Manager, Deployment Edge Cases + New Openings, CALA
This is a temporary position.
The assignment duration is through August 23, 2027.JOB SUMMARY
This role leads strategy, execution, readiness and oversight for Digital + Technology Transformation (D+TT) deployment efforts for edge case, new opening and transition hotels in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA). Working closely with the Business Transformation Office (BTO), CALA Deployment team, Continent teams, Global Technology deployment partners, Change Management, Learning, and external consulting leaders, this role ensures an integrated approach to planning, tracking, solutioning, implementation and sustainment across impacted hotels.
CANDIDATE
PROFILERequired
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, hotel operations experience, and/or program management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in program management and/or implementation.
- 2+ years of experience supporting hotel reservations, sales, revenue management, and/or rooms operations disciplines.
Preferred
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills for planning, estimating, budgeting, and monitoring program/project work.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders, securing sponsorship, and motivating cross-functional teams and resources without direct authority.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Support the CALA Deployment Lead, CALA team, and BTO HQ leadership in delivering the edge case, new opening and transition strategy for D+TT.
- Partner with strategy, implementation, CMDL, Continent and Global Technology deployment leads to maintain one integrated deployment plan.
- Support development of edge case plans for each category and deployment phase, including Prepare, Readiness, Launch and Stabilize.
- Inventory, catalogue and track edge case, new opening and transition hotels through the hotel master inventory tool and related tracking processes.
- Develop and support readiness, implementation and cutover activities for CALA, including cross-discipline solutioning for impacted hotels.
- Identify hotel-specific needs and ensure they are incorporated into change management, communications, continent engagement and learning plans.
- Partner with new openings and transition teams to the D+TT approach and support the transition to the new business-as-usual process as impacted by D+TT.
- Implement edge case plans in partnership with the full HQ and Continent deployment team throughout the deployment lifecycle.
- Drive alignment, support execution and help sustain the deployment approach through planning, solutioning, implementation and post-deployment stabilization.
- Support the Continent Deployment team on resource planning, engagement and execution through all phases of implementation.
