Job Description

Lead Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Analyst Location:
San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; or West Los Angeles, CA will be considered. Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Analyst to lead enterprise BC/DR and operational resilience programs. This role will manage business impact assessments, recovery planning, risk assessments, testing, third-party continuity, issue remediation, metrics, and executive reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead annual BC/DR program activities , including
BIA, BRP, DR
plans, risk assessments, testing, and governance reporting. Maintain RTOs, RPOs, MADs, dependencies, recovery strategies, plans, and program documentation . Coordinate tabletop exercises, disaster recovery tests, failover exercises, and incident response activities. Evaluate testing results, identify gaps, track corrective actions, and ensure remediation. Perform BC/DR risk assessments and provide recommendations to improve operational resilience. Review third-party BC/DR plans, testing evidence, recovery capabilities, and residual risks. Develop dashboards, metrics, test summaries, issue reports, and executive-ready presentations. Partner with business, Technology, Information Security, Risk, Operations, and other stakeholders. Support audit and regulatory readiness and serve as a BC/DR subject matter expert. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Operational Resilience, Technology Risk, Information Security, Audit, or related areas. Strong knowledge of BIA, BRP, DRP, RTO, RPO, MAD, dependency mapping, recovery strategies, and DR testing . Experience coordinating with technology teams on application/infrastructure recovery, failover testing, and backup/recovery. Knowledge of
FFIEC, NIST, GLBA, SOC, PCI
, or related regulatory frameworks. Experience facilitating exercises, documenting results, collecting evidence, and tracking remediation. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide executive-ready reporting. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Fusion Risk Management, LogicGate, Jira, ServiceNow , or other GRC/resilience platforms. Financial services, banking, payments, fintech, or other regulated-industry experience. BC/DR certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, CBCI, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC . Education Bachelor s degree in Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Information Systems, IT, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
