Job Description
Overview Job Purpose The Business Continuity Organization (BCO) Analyst provides guidance on business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing activities in accordance with Intercontinental Exchange's (ICE) global policy, governance, and standards. Responds at time of disaster to assist Risk Management run the Emergency Operations Center. The Business Continuity Organization (BCO) Analyst plays a critical role in protecting the operational resilience of ICE's global exchanges, clearing houses, and data distribution services. This role supports the development, maintenance, and execution of Business Continuity (BC) across ICE's portfolio of regulated financial market infrastructures. The BCO Analyst will preferably have knowledge and understanding of business continuity, emergency management, and/or incident/crisis response to support ICE's business continuity program. The BCO Analyst operates within the Service Reliability department and works across 13 business segments supporting 80+ businesses. This position requires a blend of risk management acumen, incident coordination experience, and analytical discipline. The analyst must be equally comfortable supporting continuity plans, exercises, and live incident response, often under time pressure. Responsibilities BIA Execution & Plan Maintenance Update / maintain, and continuously improve BC plans in alignment with ICE regulatory frameworks Support the execution of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical processes, recovery time objectives (RTOs), and critical dependencies Maintain BIA and plan documentation in ServiceNow and other platforms, ensuring version control and stakeholder accessibility Incident & Crisis Management Engage in the Location Incident Management lifecycle - exploring Everbridge mass notifications disbursement, and Location Incident Management Team exercises and plan maintenance Contribute to the BCO Incident Quick Open (IQO) process and maintain incident classification taxonomy aligned to ServiceNow Risk Assessment & Reporting Assist in gathering data for the Location Risk Assessments for each facility Testing & Exercises Document exercise outcomes, gap findings, and corrective action items; track remediation through closure Train and educate stakeholders on incident response, BC procedures, and program updates Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with portfolio managers to gain comprehensive knowledge of business operations and provide alternate support to ensure continuity in the event of a disruption Coordinate with Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Regulatory Relations, and Compliance stakeholders on BCO program governance and oversight activities Knowledge and Experience 3+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, emergency management, or IT operations, preferably within financial services or a regulated industry Demonstrated experience with business continuity and incident management platforms such as ServiceNow, Everbridge, PagerDuty, or similar tools Familiarity with Business Continuity frameworks and best practices including
