Job Description
Responsible to plan, develop, implement and manage the business continuity department. Manage all aspects of business continuity planning that have divisional and/or corporate impact and support; schedule and publish the review schedule for all business continuity plans; assist in plan development across all business areas; provide effective and efficient solutions to business problems. Develop and implement corporate business continuity processes and procedures. Coordination of enterprise business continuity plan creation, maintenance and testing. Provide training and education on business continuity planning software to maintain plans for all areas within Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Act as liaison between corporate business areas and participates in group or committee discussions. Prepare executive level presentations and conduct executive steering committee meetings. Identify and resolve challenges to fulfill key business continuity objectives and respond to the demand of change management across the organization. Initiate actions needed to plan, organize and control business continuity planning activities. " Qualifications " Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science or related field is required. Seven (7) years of experience in business continuity methodologies and techniques, risk assessments, crisis management, corporate contingency planning and business impact analysis is required. Four (4) years of previous leadership experience is required. Knowledge of HiTrust security requirements for compliance and audits. Ability to perform system administrator duties which support the enterprise business continuity software. Strong verbal and written communication skills required to build continued support for continuity objectives and tests. Ability to appropriately delegate work across the organization and perform appropriate follow up to ensure ongoing organizational resiliency. Ability to design and implement processes, creating templates and repeatable processes.
