Job Description
The Administrative Analyst provides high-level administrative, analytical, and operational support to the Vice Chancellor for Student Services. This position assists in planning, coordinating, and evaluating programs and initiatives that support student success, enrollment, retention, and campus services. The Administrative Analyst serves as a liaison between Student Services departments, other campus offices, students, and external partners while maintaining confidential information and ensuring efficient office operations. The position combines executive support, project management, data analysis, compliance, budgeting, and coordination across Student Services departments. This is a 12-month, 40 hours per week, on-campus position. If not residing in Camden or surrounding area, relocation is required. - Provide general administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and handling confidential information with discretion.
- Assist VCSS with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to enrollment, retention, graduation, financial aid, and student success initiatives. Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders and assist in strategic planning efforts.
- Assist the VCSS with monitoring division budgets, purchasing, travel, and procurement.
- Maintain confidential student records in accordance with FERPA and institutional policies.
- Assist the VCSS in support of the planning and execution of student services initiatives, including orientation programs, student engagement activities, and support services. Coordinate logistics, track progress, and evaluate outcomes.
- Assist VCSS in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for Student Services.
- Assist VCSS in the creation and revision of policies, procedures, and operational workflows related to student services, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Serve as liaison on behalf of the VCSS with other offices as it relates to coordination of state reporting guidelines and information.
- Serve as a point of contact for working with Admissions and Registrar's office to ensure transfer transcripts with National Student Clearinghouse.
- Assist the VCSS with providing clerical/organizational support for prospective students as they navigate the enrollment funnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an accredited institution
- One year of administrative, clerical, customer service, or data entry experience.
- Relevant experience working in a higher education environment preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Strong computer and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and/or three years of higher education experience in a related area.
- Experience CRM databases and/or Student Information Systems.
