Job Description

Description The Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst will support the EWS Program Support Team within the Aeronautics Systems Strike portfolio. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to ensure successful execution of complex, government‑funded aerospace programs. The position works in close coordination with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Earned Value teams to ensure schedule integrity, performance visibility, and compliance with EVMS and government reporting standards. Skills Master scheduler, MS Project, Earned value management system, program management, project management, secret clearance, Schedule planning, risk analysis Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) supporting classified aerospace programs Ensure schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated across engineering, finance, manufacturing, material, and quality organizations Perform critical path analysis , network logic reviews, and schedule risk assessments Track schedule performance, identify risks and variances, and provide actionable mitigation recommendations Apply program control methodologies including Gantt charts, PERT analysis, milestone tracking, and Earned Value Management (EVM) Support program reviews and customer deliverables with accurate, auditable schedule data Collaborate with Cost Account Managers (CAMs) and Program Managers to support program execution within cost and schedule constraints Basic Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in program planning, scheduling, or program controls Proficiency with Microsoft Project and experience building and maintaining IMS Experience supporting government programs in a regulated or classified environment Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and project management best practices U.S. Citizenship required Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI frequently required depending on program) Education Bachelor's degree in one of the following (or closely related field):
Business Administration Finance Accounting Engineering Project Management Operations Management Supply Chain Mathematics or Applied Sciences Experience Substitution:
Equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree when the candidate demonstrates strong, hands‑on experience in: Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) Program Planning & Scheduling Earned Value Management (EVMS) Government / DoD program support Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Palmdale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
