Job#: 3049342 Apex Systems his hiring a Business Consultant for a large Healthcare client.

Location:

CA preferred - will require heavy travel in that state.

•All travel expenses are covered by the client

• Role OverviewThis position supports business line leadership in the development and execution of analyses, plans, and business processes that support regional and national strategies. The Business Consultant will work with regional and national business line leadership, key functional areas, and other lines of business. The work includes conducting assessments, identifying impacts, developing work plans, and defining outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage Post-Go-Live (PGL) teams by providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure successful adoption, stabilization, and optimization of workflows and systems.



Monitor, prioritize, and coordinate the resolution of operational and system-related issues, serving as a key resource for troubleshooting and escalation.



Develop and deliver regular status updates to project teams, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders.



Coordinate change management activities and provide command center and go-live support for deployment teams.



Support operational excellence initiatives across multiple pharmacy locations.

Required QualificationsEducation:

A Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience:

A minimum of five years of experience in project management is required, preferably within a healthcare, inventory, or training environment. Experience with large-scale deployments and go-lives is also sought.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Epic (HealthConnect), Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is required.

Must communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, from end-users to executive leadership.

Collaboration:

Must possess the ability to build relationships, foster partnerships, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment across multiple regions and medical centers.

Training and Development:

Must have the ability to deliver and support training programs to educate end-users and ensure stakeholders can utilize new processes or tools.



Preferred QualificationsAn Epic certification is a preferred qualification.



Experience with project management in a pharmacy setting involving systems like Epic, Pyxis, or Carousel.



Familiarity with inventory management within a pharmacy environment.



Work EnvironmentThis role allows for a partial remote or flexible work arrangement. Travel is required for this position, estimated at up to 50% of the time, primarily within California. The standard work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
